Rabin S Baldewsingh Named New Sporting Director
Dutch football club Roda JC Kerkrade has announced the appointment of Cultura Nova as their new Technical Director. Nova takes over the role from interim director Jeffrey van As, who will remain with the club as an advisor.
Alongside Nova, Rabin S Baldewsingh has been appointed as the club's new Sporting Director. Baldewsingh previously held the same role at FC Eindhoven and will oversee all football-related matters at Roda.
The new appointments come as part of a wider restructuring of the club, which is currently bottom of the Dutch second tier. Roda have won just three of their 19 league matches this season and are in danger of relegation to the third tier.
Nova is a former professional footballer who played for a number of clubs in the Netherlands, including Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven. He has also worked as a coach and technical director at several clubs in the Dutch league.
Baldewsingh is a former Suriname international who spent the majority of his playing career in the Netherlands. He has also worked as a coach and technical director at several clubs in the Dutch league.
